- Biography
It has
been said many a time, that you can't beat experience. Victor Pasowisty
has had his share of experience in the Music World. The son of Polish-Ukrainian
parents, he was born and raised at Mountain Road, Manitoba and attended
St. Joseph's College in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. But Victor wanted
to better himself so he moved to Toronto where he studied music.
Although he has played with the Symphony for many years, his real
love for music takes him back to his boyhood years on the farm;
good old Country and Ukrainian music. He admired musicians like
Andy De Jarlis and Don Messer with whom he had the pleasure of working
with over the years.
- He appeared
several times on the Don Messer show and entertained people from
around the world from 1966 – 74 at the famous Mayfair Inn in
Toronto.Today we are proud to say that Victor makes his living teaching
music full time in his own music school in New Hamburg, Ontario.
